From the very beginning, Bethany reached out after I filled out the online form. She was incredibly patient while I asked what felt like 101 questions trying to find the perfect inflatable for my granddaughter's 4th birthday party, with kids ranging in age from 2 to 9 years old.
One thing that really stood out was that when I didn't get back with her right away, she didn't constantly call or text trying to get my business like several other companies did. That meant more than she probably knows because our family was going through an incredibly difficult time as we were caring for a close family member who was nearing the end of his life.
When I finally called back over a month later, I was amazed that Bethany remembered exactly who I was and all of our previous conversations. That level of personal customer service is rare these days.
Next was the price. I compared around seven different companies, and not only did Fun and Done have the best pricing, but they also included FREE delivery, setup, and take-down! That made the decision even easier.
Layne and another young gentleman (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch) arrived an hour before the party to set everything up. Both were extremely polite, friendly, and professional. Once the inflatable was set up, they thoroughly cleaned and disinfected it before hooking up the water.
Layne immediately noticed the water flow didn't seem quite right. Rather than assuming it was fine, he disconnected everything, checked each connection, and made sure the water pressure was where it needed to be. After confirming everything looked good, they went over all the safety rules and left about 15 minutes before the party began.
Around 2:30, the kids were finally ready to play. We noticed the splash pool wasn't filling like it should, and the sprinklers at the top didn't seem to be spraying very strongly. I called Fun and Done, and Bethany asked me just a couple of questions. Within four minutes, we had come up with a solution and everything was going great!
That level of customer service is honestly some of the best I've ever experienced.
A little after 6:00 p.m., the two gentlemen returned to pick everything up. A couple of little girls were still splashing around in the water at the bottom of the slide, and I noticed the guys were taking their time. I walked over and told them the girls would get out whenever they were ready to start packing up.
Layne smiled and said, "I just hate to stop their fun!"
That simple comment said everything about the kind of people they are. He could have rushed them out, but instead he gave them a few extra minutes to enjoy themselves.
As they packed everything up, I noticed they were cleaning and disinfecting the inflatable again. I learned this is their standard procedure—they clean and sanitize every inflatable before and after every rental. As a parent and grandparent, I really appreciated that attention to cleanliness.
Before leaving, Layne asked how everything went and whether we had experienced any issues. I mentioned the water flow concern. While we're not even sure there was an actual problem with the unit, he assured me they would thoroughly inspect everything to make certain it was working exactly as it should. I have complete confidence they'll take care of it if they find anything.
It's rare these days to find a company that combines excellent prices, outstanding customer service, professionalism, and people who genuinely care about their customers.
I will absolutely be using Fun and Done again and will recommend them to everyone I know.
